Booksigning with Angelica Jackson
Author of Stay, Girl comes to Face in a Book

Who rescued who? In Angelica Jackson's new novel Stay, Girl, set in California's Central Valley in 1953, the love of a neglected dog helps a girl find healing. When Bet Carter finds a home with her Uncle Earl after her mother's death, she wants to help her uncle's foster dog learn to trust again. But how can she mend the dog's spirit when her own is so broken? This heartwarming coming-of-age story will have you cheering!
Come to Face in a Book to meet the author on Sunday, March 23rd, from 11-12:30. She'll be joined by representatives of NorCal Freedom for Paws, an organization dedicated to finding "furever" homes for surrendered pets. To support this worthy organization, the author will donate $2 for each sale of her books and Face in a Book will donate 20% of each purchase made during the event.
