At the Jan. 20 meeting, the Marysville City Council announced that the city is applying for an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant of almost $4 million to fund removal and disposal of hazardous debris and contaminated materials at the former Hotel Marysville site.
