MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - Marysville High School will recognize alumni and a former basketball team during its 2026 Hall of Fame Dinner on Oct. 10 at the FIVE30 Event Center in Marysville.

The Marysville High School Booster Club will host the dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. at 1104 J St. The evening will include dinner, raffles and a silent auction along with the induction ceremony.

The 2026 Hall of Fame class includes Trinety White, Class of 2001, for athletics; Greg Lim, Class of 1973, for humanities and service; Joseph Frederick "Fred" Oliver, Class of 1963, for business and professional accomplishments; and Bruce Buttacavoli, Class of 1973, for lifetime recognition.

The 1992-93 Marysville High School boys basketball team will also enter the Hall of Fame in the athletics category.

Team members being recognized are Kevin Larson, Micheal Peterson, Frank Scritchfield, Kurtis Frailey, Josh Wroblewski, Sam Escheman, Mark Wright, David Ellyson, Jamie Bebout, Joey Spallino, Chris Lebhart, Alex Celis and Robert Ward.

The Booster Club said the annual dinner provides an opportunity to bring Marysville High alumni and community members together while recognizing people whose accomplishments and contributions form part of the school's history.

Proceeds from the dinner will support current Marysville High School students through Booster Club programs, including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, known as PBIS, as well as extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

Individual dinner tickets cost $80.

The Booster Club is also offering sponsored tables ranging from $500 to $2,000. A $500 Teepee Table includes four seats, while a $1,000 Tomahawk Table includes eight seats.

A $1,500 Warrior Table includes eight seats, eight raffle ticket sheets and two bottles of wine. The $2,000 Chief Table includes eight seats, 16 raffle ticket sheets, four bottles of wine, an MHS merchandise package and an event banner.

Sponsored tables also receive recognition during the event and through promotional materials, social media and the Marysville High School newsletter.
