YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - Tylor & the Train Robbers will bring their mix of country, Americana and roots rock to the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The nationally touring band will perform at 7 p.m. in the Clark Family Black Box Theater, a 150-seat venue inside the Sutter Theater.
Led by singer-songwriter Tylor Ketchum, the band has built its music around stories of life on the road, relationships, work and the people and places encountered along the way.
Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture Executive Director David Read said the smaller theater gives local audiences an opportunity to experience touring musicians in a more intimate setting.
“We love bringing artists to Yuba-Sutter who audiences may have heard about but haven't yet had the opportunity to see live,” Read said. “Tylor & the Train Robbers are exactly the kind of band that makes our intimate theater so much fun. Great songs, great musicianship and the chance to see them up close.”
The group combines traditional country influences with roots rock and Americana, with Ketchum's songwriting at the center of its music. The band has developed its sound through years of performing together and touring.
The concert is part of Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture's continuing live music and cultural programming at the Sutter Theater. Proceeds from events at the theater support the organization's arts programs and continued development of the historic venue.
Tylor & the Train Robbers will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts, 754 Plumas St., Yuba City.
