MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - Candidates seeking state and federal office will meet with voters Aug. 25 during a public forum hosted by the Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the Yuba County Government Center Board Chambers, 915 Eighth St., Marysville. The nonpartisan event will feature candidates for California Assembly District 3 and U.S. Congressional District 4.

Assembly District 3 candidates Dom Belza and Jamie Johansson are scheduled to participate, along with Congressional District 4 candidates Eric Jones and Mike Thompson.

The candidates will discuss issues affecting the region and its agricultural community and answer questions submitted by the public.
