SUTTER COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Bounty of Sutter County Business Awards, recognizing businesses and organizations for growth, innovation, service and contributions to the local economy.

Community members may submit nominations through Aug. 31 in four award categories.

The Al Montna Agricultural Excellence Award recognizes contributions and innovation within Sutter County’s agricultural industry. The Business Growth Award honors a business demonstrating growth, investment, job creation and commitment to the local economy.

The Outstanding Service Award recognizes a business or organization for service and contributions to the community. The Rising Star Business Award honors an emerging business that has operated for fewer than five years and is making an impact in Sutter County.

Award recipients will be recognized during the 2026 Bounty of Sutter County Business Awards Luncheon Oct. 2.

The awards program is a partnership between Sutter County and the Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation and highlights businesses and organizations contributing to the county’s economy and quality of life.

Nominations can be submitted through Sutter County’s nomination form at http://bit.ly/4fpAqBH. Organizers said the luncheon is expected to be funded through partnerships, sponsorships and ticket sales.
