SUTTER, CA (MPG) - The Sutter Shotgun Team and Sutter Junior Shooters returned home from the Youth Shooting Sports Foundation (YSSF) U.S. Open National Championship in Las Vegas with their first High Overall (HOA) national championship, marking a milestone for the program.

The competition was held at the Clark County Shooting Complex, where Sutter shooters competed in trap, skeet and sporting clays against teams from across the country.

The program earned the High Overall Team championship by posting the top combined performance across all three disciplines. It marked the first time Sutter has won the national HOA title.

In addition to the overall championship, the varsity team claimed national team titles in skeet and sporting clays.

The varsity roster included Logan Munger, Garrett Bartels, Manny Moulton, Tyler Fletcher, Caesar Moulton, Dixie Bybee, Heston Burrow, Ireland Sohrakoff, Summer Anderson, Jonathan Mendez and Nicolas Miller.

Munger and Bartels teamed up to win first-place squad titles in both sporting clays and skeet.

Individually, Munger placed second in varsity skeet, while Manny Moulton finished second in varsity sporting clays.

The junior varsity team of Aidan Jewell, Bailey Crabtree, Ismael Collins, Eric Mallett and James Dammann placed third in trap and sporting clays and second in skeet.

Cameron Cipriani earned second place individually in junior varsity trap.

The Sutter Junior Shooters team of Kailey Crabtree, Arlo Eubanks and Josue Mendez captured national team championships in skeet and sporting clays. The team also earned third place in trap.

In squad competition, the junior shooters placed first in sporting clays, second in skeet and third in trap. The third-place trap squad included Crabtree, Eubanks, Josue Mendez, Eric Mallett and James Dammann.

Arlo Eubanks finished second individually in intermediate entry sporting clays, while Josue Mendez placed third in the same event.
