SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The Rural County Representatives of California is inviting photographers to showcase the beauty and character of rural California during its 10th Annual Rural County Photo Contest.

The contest runs from July 1 through July 31 and is open to photographers of all experience levels. Participants are encouraged to submit original photographs highlighting the landscapes, communities, history, activities and unique features of RCRC's 40 member counties.

Entries may be submitted through the contest webpage or by email to [email protected]. All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. July 31.

Last year's contest attracted 320 entries from 155 photographers representing 37 RCRC member counties.

The grand prize winner will receive a $300 Amazon gift card, with the winning photograph to be unveiled during the RCRC Board of Directors meeting in September. The second-place winner will receive a $150 Amazon gift card and the third-place winner will receive a $75 Amazon gift card.
