Yuba Sutter Arts Hosts Annual Meeting, June 25

YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture will welcome members and the public to its annual meeting and open house on Thursday, June 25, at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts in Yuba City.
The event marks the organization's 45th year of serving Yuba and Sutter counties through arts programming, education, advocacy and cultural initiatives.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting beginning at 6 p.m. at the theater, 754 Plumas St. Light appetizers and beverages will be provided. Admission is free and open to the public.
During the meeting, members will elect a new slate of board officers. Executive Director David Read and members of the Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture team will provide updates on the organization's accomplishments, recent programs and future plans. The presentation will also include a progress report on the Main Stage project at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts.
The organization will also recognize its 2026 Volunteers of the Year.
"We love updating the public on everything going on, arts and culture-wise, with us and in our region," Read said. "You'll also get a sneak peek into some very exciting projects that are under development."
As a special incentive, the first 100 attendees will receive a gift from the organization.
Founded in 1981, Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture serves as the local affiliate of the California Arts Council for Yuba and Sutter counties. The nonprofit provides a variety of programs, including the Yuba Sutter Big Band, Ceramics for Veterans, Arts in Education, Center Stage Youth Theater Productions and Stage 754 Theatre Company.
