LINDA, CA (MPG) - Yuba County is set to get a jolt of caffeine as plans move forward for a new Dutch Bros. Coffee location at the Feather River Shopping Center. According to Yuba County Economic Development, the popular drive-thru coffee chain will bring both energy and economic momentum to the growing retail hub.
Known for its upbeat atmosphere and loyal customer base, Dutch Bros. has built a reputation as more than just a coffee stop, offering what many describe as a full customer experience. Project renderings show a roughly 1,025-square-foot building with a double-lane drive-thru, designed to accommodate high traffic while maintaining quick service. The addition is part of a broader wave of development at the shopping center, which officials say is quickly emerging as a key destination for retail and community activity in the area.
Online reaction to the project has been mixed. Some residents have questioned the need for another coffee chain, citing an already saturated market. Others, particularly in the Linda area, have welcomed the addition, noting it will provide a convenient drive-thru option without the need to cross the bridge into Marysville.
County officials point to the project as another sign of continued investment in local amenities and infrastructure, as new businesses and increased foot traffic contribute to the area’s growth. Construction is expected to begin soon, with more updates anticipated as the project moves forward.
