COLUSA, CA (MPG) – It was a beautiful day for golf last Wednesday and an especially good one for Marysville, who saw Colby Goff win the third annual Brady Myers Invitational in Colusa and in the process led the team to a second-place finish.
Goff carded a 73 to finish as the top individual, while the Indians as a team compiled a score of 244, 12 strokes back of Shasta, whose total score was 232.

Fifty-five prep golfers from nine different high schools hit the links at the Colusa Golf and Country Club in a tournament held in honor of Myers, a former collegiate All-American golfer in the early 1980s, who passed away in 2023.
The event showcased not only the talent in the North State but also reflected the passion for golf that Myers retained throughout his life.
