YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Yuba City Police Department and city officials are recognizing two local businesses for donating materials and services to support officer wellness.

According to the city, Josh French of French’s Floor Fashions donated and installed flooring for the department’s Quiet Room, a space designed to give officers and professional staff a private place to decompress during demanding shifts. City officials also thanked Cody of The Rock Yard for coordinating, donating and delivering supplies for the department’s Zen Garden, an outdoor area intended to provide a calm setting for officers to pause and recharge.

Officials said the two spaces were created to support stress relief, resilience and overall well-being for department staff. The city credited the donations as an example of community partnerships that have a lasting impact on those who serve.
