YUBA COUNTY, CA (MPG) - A new traffic signal is now operational at the intersection of State Route 20 and Kibbe Road in Yuba County, according to Caltrans.
The signal marks the completion of a roadway improvement project led by Yuba County in partnership with Teichert Materials. The project provides direct access between SR 20 and Teichert’s Hallwood Aggregate Plant.
Caltrans advised motorists to prepare to stop at the new signal and to follow posted signs as traffic patterns adjust. Drivers should slow down and use caution when approaching the intersection.
County officials said the new access point is expected to reduce heavy truck traffic on Walnut Avenue by routing trucks to and from the aggregate plant via SR 20. The change aims to improve traffic flow and safety for nearby residents.
