Prune Growers Meeting Set Feb. 18 in Yuba City

YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The University of California Cooperative Extension will host the 2026 South Sacramento Valley Prune Grower Meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Sutter County Veterans Hall, 1425 Veterans Memorial Cir, in Yuba City.

The program begins at 8:15 a.m. and will include updates from the California Prune Board, research on prune orchard systems, rest breaking trials, disease management, regulatory updates, weed control, and early findings on sunburn control in prunes. Continuing education hours approved by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation will be available.

There is no cost to attend. Growers are asked to pre register online to assist with lunch planning at https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=45654. Lunch is sponsored by the California Prune Board.
