YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Sutter County Oral Health and Women, Infants and Children programs will host a free Dental Day event for families with young children on Feb. 19 in Yuba City.

The event will run from 3 to 5 p.m. at 1445 Veterans Memorial Circle and will offer dental screenings for children ages 0 to 5, along with oral health education and dental kits while supplies last.

Dental Day aims to help families learn about early childhood oral health and connect with available resources. Organizers said early prevention plays a key role in long term dental health and overall well being for children.

Dental Day is presented in partnership with Smile California and the Sutter County Children and Families Commission.
