YUBA COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Yuba County Economic Development is now accepting applications for “Yes to Startups,” the County’s free business incubator and pitch competition. Applications are open now through Jan. 31.

“Yes to Startups” is a seven-week business incubator program designed to help entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses turn ideas into viable companies. Participants receive business training, one-on-one advising from the Sacramento Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC), mentorship, and the opportunity to pitch for cash prizes of up to $10,000. The program combines online learning with in-person workshops and culminates in a live pitch competition. It is open to aspiring and existing for-profit businesses planning to operate in Yuba County.

Applications for the program close Jan. 31, with the program set to kick off in February and conclude with a pitch competition finale in May. Entrepreneurs interested in applying can learn more and submit an application at yestoyuba.com/yes-to-start-ups.
