YUBA/SUTTER COUNTIES, CA (MPG) - The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce has announced the hiring of Liz Gates as its new Member and Marketing Specialist. In a public statement released on Dec.2, the chamber said Gates brings a diverse background in business ownership, office management, community advocacy, event planning and creative marketing.

Chamber leadership believes Gates’ experience working directly with local businesses provides her with a strong understanding of what owners need and value, and will help the organization better connect with and support its members.

The chamber said it remains committed to championing the interests of businesses throughout Yuba and Sutter counties. With the addition of Gates, the organization expressed confidence in its ability to deliver even greater value and expanded services to its membership.

In her new role, Gates will support both new and existing members, strengthen business relationships, assist with membership growth and help enhance the chamber’s communications and events.
