BROWNS VALLEY, CA (MPG) - The Loma Rica Foothill Lions Club was able to purchase and place 187 eight-foot flags on the graves of all veterans for Veterans Day at the Peoria Cemetery in Browns Valley on Sunday, Nov. 9.

This fulfilled the club’s promise to honor local veterans and to render the cemetery a stirring tribute for their sacrifice and service.

This was a coordinated effort, between the Foothill Lions Club, Loma Rica Fire Department and the Foothill Community This project has been a long-time dream in the making, developed by Lion Linda Saala.
