YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Yuba-Sutter music community is coming together for a massive, all-day tribute to the legendary Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, and his groundbreaking band Black Sabbath. The festival, titled Electric Funeral, will take place Saturday, Oct. 11, across three stages split between E&J’s Music Lounge and Hooligans Bar & Bistro on South Plumas Street in Yuba City. Music begins at noon.
The
celebration will feature more than 20 of the region’s top musicians and bands
performing classics from Osbourne’s career and Black Sabbath’s iconic catalog.
Organizers say the event is not only a showcase of local talent, but also a way
for the community to honor one of rock and metal’s most influential figures.
Admission will be available at the door with wristbands priced at $20 for
adults and $15 for attendees under 21.
