Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way Has Hired a New Executive Director

YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Board of Directors of Yuba-Sutter United Way is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tara Art as its new Executive Director, marking an exciting new era of growth and innovation for the organization. Art brings a fresh perspective, dynamic energy, and passion for community impact that will guide the organization into its next chapter of service. Her innovative vision for organizational growth includes launching groundbreaking community partnerships, developing bold new funding strategies and expanding programs that could transform lives throughout our region in ways never before imagined.
Art brings firsthand knowledge of United Way's impact to her new role, having been a dedicated volunteer at the organization's signature events including the annual Golf Tournament and Elegant Soiree, as well as supporting various community initiatives such as the annual Turkey Drive. This hands-on volunteer experience, combined with her active membership in the local Rotary club and the Foundation Board of the Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors, demonstrates her deep commitment to our community.
Her proven leadership experience, strong sales background, and role as a realtor in the local residential and commercial space, provides additional skills that translate directly to nonprofit management and community engagement. Art's combination of first-hand knowledge of United Way's impact, extensive community connections and professional expertise made her the clear choice to lead the organization forward.
