SUTTER COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Sutter County Public Health (SCPH) has updated its long-standing "Creating a Healthier Sutter" logo.

The development of a new logo and branding strategy for Sutter County Public Health highlights its role in protecting and promoting the health of the community.

The core objective of this branding effort is to establish a clear and recognizable identity for Sutter County Public Health that effectively communicates its values of compassion, collaboration, equity, well-being and integrity.

The new branding aligns with Sutter County while highlighting Sutter County Public Health’s commitment to improving community well-being through disease prevention, health education, emergency preparedness and public health programs. These efforts aim to create a healthier, safer and more resilient community by providing resources to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families.

The updated Sutter County Public Health logo incorporates light blue to symbolize the Feather River, green to reflect Sutter County’s agricultural roots and the Buttes to represent the region’s natural landmarks and deep connection to the land. The bird represents the region’s rich natural environment and its place along this migratory route. The sun represents growth and symbolizes Sutter County Public Health’s dedication to empowering individuals, families and communities in their efforts to foster health, safety and resilience.

Sutter County Public Health began an internal rollout of the new logo on Aug. 19, while an external rollout will be introduced in the next few weeks.
