YUBA COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Butte College will host its annual Transfer Day on Wednesday, Sept 17,  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of the Campus Center on the Main Campus, located at 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville. The event, organized by the Transfer Counseling Center, is designed to help students explore their transfer options and connect with representatives from various four-year universities.

This year, the event will welcome representatives from 30 colleges and universities, including public, private, in-state, and out-of-state institutions. In addition, Chico State will send staff from 11 departments.

Transfer Day is a vital resource for Butte College students and local high school students interested in pursuing higher education. This year, approximately 250 high school students are expected to attend, along with hundreds of current Butte College students.

Butte’s motto is "start here, go anywhere.” This motto is reflected by the nearly 1,000 Butte College students who transfer to four-year colleges each year.
