YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) – Faith Christian School celebrated half a century of serving the Yuba-Sutter area with Christ-centered education, Saturday Sept. 6, at their 50th Anniversary Gala.

The evening of gourmet dining, entertainment and guest speakers was held at Adventure Church and sold out quickly. Demand for the event caused organizers to offer 50 “overflow” tickets for additional seating that did not including dinner. A live stream to the program was provided for those attendees so that they could take part in the revelry and honor the schools past accomplishments.

Earlier this month Faith Christian launched their newest milestone - a transitional Kindergarten program. They were joined by the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce in a ribbon cutting for the program on Aug. 21.

In an online post, Faith Christian said “we are honored and blessed to be part of such a supportive community and so thankful for the recognition of our 50 years of ministry.”

Supporters and sponsors for the expanding non-denominational TK-12 school turned out in strong showing for Saturdays gala, enjoying an evening of mingling with business owners, members of the public and civic leaders.

A highlight of the night was special guest speaker, Jase Robertson of A&E’s Duck Dynasty’s. Robertson spoke to the crowd in about his religious journey, its positive impact on his family and the importance of Christian schools and faith-based education.

Faith Christian School thanked attendees and the community for the shared vision for Chrisitan education and looked forward to what they hope will be a bright future for their school and ministry within the Yuba-Sutter areas.
