Story Time Returns to Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm

WHEATLAND, CA (MPG) - The Yuba County Library will host three story time events at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm this fall, offering music, crafts and books for children.

The first event is scheduled for Sept. 17, beginning at 10 a.m. Yuba County Health and Human Services will meet families at the entrance of the farm and lead a walking tour focused on pedestrian safety. Following the tour, children will gather in the prizewinning pumpkin fields for pumpkin-themed stories and crafts.

On Oct. 8, Family SOUP will join the library in the pumpkin fields for music and movement activities. The program will include sing-alongs, dancing, stories, and crafts.

The final story time is set for Oct. 15. Library staff will host music, reading and crafts in the pumpkin fields.

Each session runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The program is free and open to children of all ages. No registration is required.

Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm is located at 1415 Pumpkin Lane in Wheatland.
