MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - The City of Marysville invites all residents to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, Sept 25, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, Council Chambers, 526 C Street, Marysville, where the community will come together to discuss the future of the Hotel Marysville site.
This open forum is designed to give residents a voice in shaping the next chapter of this downtown landmark.
“The old Hotel Marysville is a central piece of our city’s history, and its future must be guided by the voices of our residents,” said Marysville City Manager Jim Schaad. “This Town Hall is an opportunity for us to update the community, discuss the EPA clean-up grant opportunity, listen to ideas and work together toward a vision that benefits Marysville’s future.”
The Draft Agenda includes the following.
Welcome and introductions, an update on the EPA grant application and debris removal process, discussion of next steps for marketing the old Hotel Marysville property, identifying potential developers and revitalization opportunities, a community input session where residents share their ideas and priorities for the site and an open questions and answer discussion.
The City of Marysville encourages residents, business owners and community partners to participate in this important conversation about one of the City’s most historic and visible properties.
Refreshments will be provided.
