YUBA-SUTTER, CA (MPG) - The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce has issued an important update regarding a leadership transition following the recent resignation of its Executive Director.

According to Chairperson Jamie Dickerson, the Chamber has partnered with the Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation (YSEDC) to provide day-to-day operational support. This interim partnership will maintain continuity in the chamber’s programs, member services and community engagement while the Chamber Board evaluates long-term leadership solutions.

“I want to clarify that there is currently no open position nor any active search underway for the Executive Director role,” said Dickerson.

The Chamber also addressed a concerning issue: reports have surfaced of an individual soliciting local boards and falsely claiming to be the future CEO or Executive Director of the Chamber.

“This is inaccurate and unauthorized,” Dickerson stated. “No such appointment has been made or is under consideration at this time. Any formal leadership decisions will be made by the Board and communicated transparently to our membership and partners.”

Community members with questions or those who may have been approached by individuals claiming to represent the chamber in this capacity are encouraged to contact Chairperson Jamie Dickerson directly at [email protected].

The Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to its members and the regional business community.

“We remain focused on serving our members, strengthening our business community, and stewarding this transition responsibly,” said the chamber.
