MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) – The 2025–26 HeartShine Peach Festival Royal Court was officially crowned on July 18, at the opening night of the annual Marysville Peach Festival, marking a joyful milestone for the local leadership program as participation numbers bounce back following the pandemic.

Held on the South Stage at 3rd & D Street in historic downtown Marysville, the crowning ceremony introduced 20 dynamic young leaders from across the region who will now serve as ambassadors for HeartShine and its values of inner beauty, empowerment and civic engagement throughout the year.

“We’re still getting to know all our new families, but it’s an exciting year to see our numbers increase again for sure,” said local HeartShine coordinator Danna Mack, noting the event’s encouraging growth after several difficult years.

Founded in Paradise in 2012, HeartShine is a nationally recognized leadership and mentorship initiative, dedicated to cultivating confidence, service, and sisterhood among participants of all ages. What began as a small inner-beauty pageant has grown into an international movement, now serving youth across five countries.

The newly crowned court includes representatives from a wide range of age groups, from toddler queens to teen ambassadors and adult role models. Those under the age of 18 have had their last names withheld from the title list per the organization's safety policy. Among this year’s titleholders are as follows: Miss Peach Festival Queen Alexia Z., Miss Teen Peach Festival Queen Sorenity, Junior Miss Queen Payton, Junior Miss Princess Edith, Mrs. Peach Festival Sarah Walker, Peach Festival Sr. Regional Ambassador (King) David, Peach Festival Jr. Ambassador (King) Alexavier and Peach Festival Jr. Ambassador (Prince) Leo.

The youngest royals also delighted the crowd during Friday’s celebration, with Ember named Baby-Miss Peach Blossom Queen and Melody crowned Little Miss Peach Blossom Queen. Several optional contest winners were also recognized for photogenic qualities and talent performances, including Damari and Azalea.

Local titleholders Gwenhwyfarr Buckley, "Miss Yuba City" and Luciana, "Miss North State Teen," will also join the royal court for the upcoming season of service, representing the HeartShine values at regional events, parades, and outreach projects.

As HeartShine celebrates its 15th year, the organization continues to champion leadership rooted in kindness, confidence, and contribution. To learn more about HeartShine or to follow this year’s royal court, visit www.heartshinepageants.com.
