YUBA-SUTTER COUNTY, CA (MPG) - The Faith Christian Lady Lions participated in the third annual Girls California Live National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Scholastic Live Viewing Event. 

The Girls California Live 25 took place June 12 to June 14 at the Roebbelen Center in Roseville, which featured 12-courts of play.

The Lady Lions entered this event with the confidence of champions but prepared to face off against some of the best teams in the state. 

These types of events are designed to showcase talent and also build and prepare athletes for the upcoming season. 

As someone who has followed and photographed the Lady Lions for four years, I have seen so much growth as a team and as young ladies. 

The team is led by head coach Geoff Harris and assisted by Shane Berry, who are preparing and molding these young ladies into the best players they can be. 

Harris and Berry work tirelessly to make the team better, whether it’s on the court practicing or pouring over game footage to develop game strategy.

The casual observer would look at the statistics and see all the amazing numbers posted by Lauren Harris, Presley Berry and Mia Bryan are all great but the greatest strength of this team is just that they are team.

Every player has a role and they all support each other all game long.
