MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) – The Marysville Juneteenth Committee presents this year’s Juneteenth celebration at Yuba Park in Marysville on June 21.

Festivities start at 10 a.m. until the park closes at 10 p.m.

Every hour of the event will feature group activities, such as sack races, relay challenges and other group games.

Craft tables will be set up for children to make suncatchers, craft air gliders and windsocks.

Committee member Sonya Wilson with her yard card business Events to be Remembered4U, will get your green thumb going with her plant potting booth.

There will be jump houses for the youth and cake walks, corn hole and dominoes for the adults. 

Keith the DJ will spin the good vibes all day and there will be presentations throughout the day.

Juneteenth souvenirs will be sold, along with merchandise from other vendors.

The Marysville Juneteenth Committee has worked hard all year to bring the community a free, family fun-filled day paying homage to a historic time in American history.

Sharing culture is one of the best parts of diversity and this day will be filled by honoring all that has been and looking forward to what is yet to come.
