Sutter High Shotgun Team Wins at State Championship

SUTTER COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Sutter High School Shotgun Shooting team has now prevailed in the CYSSA 2025 State Championships for trap shooting in Livermore the weekend of June 7 and 8.
Both Sutter High School Varsity and Junior Varsity shooters are first-place Division III State Champions.
Four-hundred-and one youth competitors from a variety of teams throughout the state of California met in Livermore for the State Championships for Trap Shooting highlighting handling gun safety in a competitive shooting environment. They all shot 100 targets each day for a total score out of 200 targets.

The Sutter Varsity State Championship team consisted of Tyler Siller, Cooper Maggard, Cameron Rasmussen, Taylor Bogle, Luke Campbell, Logan Munger, Ceasar Moulton, Garrett Bartels, Brayden Lybarger, and Dixie Bybee, Ava Watson and Tyler Fletcher.
The Junior Varsity Team consisted of Manny Moulton, Connor Simpson, Jonathan Mendez, Nicolas Miller, Drake Ritter and Kynsley Nunes.

Varsity Shooter Siller took third-place individual State Champion.
Junior Varsity Shooter Moulton shot the second highest JV score in the tournament. He took second-place State Champion.
Varsity Shooter Siller took third-place individual and shot the third highest Varsity score in the shoot.
The Junior Varsity squad of five shooters took second-place as a squad and consisted of Manny Moulton, Connor Simpson, Jonathan Mendez, Nicolas Miller and Drake Ritter.
A team are all the shooters on that team and a squad are five shooters squad together in their competitive class.
