Yuba-Sutter Fair Brings the Fun

YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Yuba-Sutter Fair is back and bigger than ever, running Thursday through Saturday, June 19 to 22, at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds in Yuba City. A beloved summer tradition, the fair promises four days of high-energy entertainment, live music, thrilling rides, animal showcases, and fun for all ages.
Making their debut on the fair’s music stage this year, the Josh Day Band brings a fresh mix of modern country and timeless classic rock. Their lively performances are scheduled for Thursday and Friday evenings. Fans can also enjoy nightly live music throughout the weekend from crowd favorites like Michele Lambert, Gas Station Chicken, Township Band, Radio Ready Band, and Skynyrd Nation.
For those looking for high-octane excitement, the grandstands will be packed with action all weekend. On Friday night, the Yuba-Sutter Fair will host Micro Mania Wrestling, featuring professional “micro wrestlers” in a high-energy, hard-hitting show that’s making its debut at this year’s fair. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with the show starting at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the roar of engines takes over with Extreme Truck Madness at 7:30 p.m., featuring mud bogs and tuff truck racing.
To wrap things up, the Día Hispano celebration kicks off at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday with bull riding and live Latin music by Viera y su Banda.
The fairgrounds will be packed with family-friendly attractions throughout the week. Returning favorites include carnival rides, Sea Lion Splash, Flow the Clown, All Alaskan Racing Pigs and much more.
Each day of the Yuba-Sutter Fair brings its own flavor of fun, with themed celebrations and special events to keep fairgoers entertained from start to finish. Thursday kicks off opening day with “Thrifty Thursday” pricing, meaning $5 general admission.
Visitors can enjoy the Mini-Miss, Miss Teen, and Miss Yuba-Sutter pageants on the main stage at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Supreme Champion Drive livestock showcase at 8:00 p.m.

Friday is Kid’s Day, offering free admission for children 11 and under, along with a classic pie-eating contest sure to delight spectators.
Saturday honors local seniors with free admission and a light-hearted corn dog eating contest. On Sunday, the fair wraps up with Military and First Responder Appreciation Day, featuring a festive taco eating contest. All eating contests throughout the fair are hosted by the always-entertaining Flo the Clown, adding an extra dash of humor to each competition.
The fair is located at 442 Franklin Avenue in Yuba City. The gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. Entry closes one hour before closing time each night. Early bird admission and carnival wristband deals are available now at ysfair.com.
