YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - Janell Willis, Executive Director of the Yuba- Sutter Chamber of Commerce announced May 21, that she will be stepping down from her role, effective June 10, to pursue an exciting new professional opportunity.

“It has been an incredible honor to serve the members of the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce and to work alongside such a dedicated team,” said Willis. “This chamber has always been a strong advocate for our local businesses, and I am proud of all we’ve accomplished together. While this decision wasn’t easy, I’m thrilled about the path ahead and the opportunity to continue making an impact in a new capacity.”

During her tenure, Willis led several key initiatives, including a comprehensive rebranding of the chamber that better reflects its modern mission and values. She focused on expanding the Chamber’s visibility, relevance, and value to its members and positioning the chamber for continued growth and relevance in the community.

The Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors expressed gratitude for Willis’s leadership. “Janell has been a driven and forward-thinking leader,” said Jamie Dickerson, Chair of the Board. “The rebranding project and other initiatives have left a lasting legacy. We thank her for her time and wish her the very best in this next chapter.”
