MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - The City of Marysville announced May 1 that Police Chief Christian Sachs will retire from the Marysville Police Department, effective May 2025. Chief Sachs has served the department since 2001.

The city thanks Chief Sachs for his dedicated service to the department and the Marysville community.

In the interim, Lieutenant Vance Nabeta will assume leadership of the department.
