LIVE OAK, CA (MPG) - Moses, what an unlikely choice to represent God to the Hebrew people, now 400 years enslaved in Egypt. Raised as an Egyptian in the palace with Pharaoh’s daughter, Moses was well versed in all things Egyptian - their gods, their history, their morality, and even their perceived superiority.

To him, the Hebrew people were merely slave laborers desperate to be free. This is the story of a loving God hearing the cries of his people and raising up a deliverer. God has a sense of humor, and it turns out, he was writing Moses’ story all along, preparing him for such a time as this.

Creative Light Theater will present ‘Moses,’ an original comedy, Nov. 8 through Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. nightly at the Embassy Theater at the Church of Glad Tidings in Live Oak. Admission is free and open to the public. Glad Tidings is located at 1179 Eager Rd. in Live Oak. For more information visit churchofgladtidings.com/events or call 530-671-3160.
