MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture is proud of the fact that its Sutter Theater Center for the Arts is having such a major impact on the vibrant Plumas Street scene in the heart of Yuba City. We work closely with the Yuba City Downtown Business Association and Chamber of Commerce to enhance arts and entertainment offerings for the community as well as out of town visitors.

Our events attract countless new guests to the area as witnessed by the hundreds of our guests that pour out into the streets after a concert or performance on any given weekend or sometimes even weeknight.

Now you’re invited to a free event at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts on Thursday, Aug. 29 starting at 4 p.m. It’s a Yuba City Downtown Social and Open House. Join the Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture staff and Board of Directors for an evening of networking, creativity, and community spirit as we bring together the vibrant business owners of Yuba City Downtown.

Let’s meet our neighbors, spark new connections, and collaborate on fresh ideas to boost our local success and the overall positive momentum in the community. You’ll be able to network with fellow entrepreneurs if that’s your thing, share and exchange innovative ideas with creative folks and enjoy delightful refreshments and snacks. It’s a business casual event so there is no need to dress up.

As an extra added attraction, there will be a sneak peek presentation with renderings of the soon to be remodeled Main Stage Theater. That’s the back half of the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts that has been left as is from the ’50s waiting to be reinvented as a 299-seat performing arts space, which will further enhance entertainment options for the region.
