Proposed Local Route Changes

Elimination of local fixed Routes 2 and 5.

Elimination of evening general public Dial-A-Ride so it ends shortly after fixed routes end at 8 p.m. as opposed to the current 10 p.m. end time.

Extend service hours of local fixed Routes 1, 3, 4, and 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Streamline Route 1 to provide quicker cross-service area travel. Stops on Gray, Forbes and Plumas St will be eliminated as Route 1 will stay on Colusa Hwy from Gray Avenue to Alturas and Shasta St. before crossing the Feather River to the City of Marysville.

Launch On-Demand Zone in Yuba City and surrounding areas of Sutter County to replace routes 2 and 5 with more direct and convenient service.

Proposed Fare Changes

Increase of the daily cap from $3 to $4.50 for local route general fare, and from $1.50 to $2.25 for discounted fare.

Increase in monthly pass prices from $30 to $40 for general fare, and from $15 to $20 for discounted fare. However, these prices will be subsidized in the short term to $20 for general fare and $10 for discounted fare, as grant funds are available.

Introduction of a single ride fare of $1.50 for the general public and $0.75 for the discounted fare for the new on-demand service.

No changes proposed to the Dial-A-Ride, Commuter and Rural fares.
