Bi-County Ambulance Receives Three-Year Contract Extensions
Nov 09, 2023 03:35PM ● By Bi-County Ambulance News ReleaseYUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - On Friday, November 3rd, the Sierra-Sacramento Valley EMS Agency (S-SV EMS) Joint Powers Agency (JPA) unanimously approved three-year contract extensions for Bi-County Ambulance (BCA) service in Yuba and Sutter Counties. BCA has been the sole Emergency Medical Services provided in Yuba and Sutter County since 1980.
The S-SV EMS Agency is a Joint Powers Agency (JPA) founded in 1975. The JPA Governing Board consists of a County Supervisor for each S-SV EMS member county. Supervisor Don Blaser represents Yuba County, and Supervisor Nick Micheli represents Sutter County on the S-SV EMS Agency JPA Board of Directors.

BCA will continue to be held to a high-standard of service, which includes monitoring response time standards, and various other performance metrics. BCA has decades of proven experience and performance, and the company’s response time has never fallen out of compliance.
