Wheatland, CA (MPG) -The Wheatland Lions Club proudly presents the 99th Annual Pet Parade on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. This time-honored tradition will feature Craig & Tami Jones as the Grand Marshals and will begin at the staging area located at 112 Main Street which is directly across from the “Little Red School House” and the Wheatland School District Main Office. Everyone of any age is welcome to march in the parade – with or without a pet. All participants will receive a Participant ribbon.

No need to register. If you would like to be announced or have your child announced, please bring a 3x5 card with the participant’s first name, age and name of pet, if any, and hand it to Announcer, Martha “Muffi” Waltz when you pass by her on Front Street. If you do not have a 3x5 card, one will be provided the morning of the event.

Vendor booths are $25 and the application form is also contained on the Wheatland Pet Parade Facebook page or by requesting an application form at [email protected].

Following the parade, the Community will be invited to participate in kid and pet treats (while supplies last).
