Marysville Names New Public Works Director

MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - The City of Marysville is excited to announce the selection of Vincenzo Corazza as the new Public Works Director. A Licensed Professional Engineer, Corazza comes to Marysville from Reno, Nevada. During his career, Corazza has served as Senior Engineer, Public Works Director, and City Manager for various public agencies.
An Army veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Corazza brings a wealth of experience in roadway design, traffic management, Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS), stormwater management, city planning processes and project management to Marysville.
“After conducting an extensive recruiting and interview process, Mr. Corazza was the obvious choice for Marysville’s next Public Works Director,” said Marysville City Manager Jim Schaad. “His significant experience and passion for his profession are exactly what the City needs to round out our leadership team,” said Schaad.
The Marysville Public Works Department has been overseen by City Manager Jim Schaad for the past 18-months. Director Corazza began work at Marysville during the week of October 17, 2022.
