GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Orchard Hospital has signed a contract with physician, Dr. Viktor Limanskiy.  Dr. Limanskiy started seeing patients as of July 2022 in the emergency room, in the hospital, and in the Medical Specialty Center (MSC) in Gridley.

Dr. Limanskiy obtained his Bachelor of Science in neurology physiology and behavior from the University of California – Davis, his doctorate degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, Wisconsin, and finished his residency in family medicine at San Joaquin General Hospital in San Joaquin County.

“I was able to shadow Orchard Hospital physicians during my residency and knew I wanted to call this hospital my home.  Having the flexibility to see patients in the emergency room, admit them and take care of them in the hospital, and finally see them in the clinic is one of the many things that makes Orchard Hospital great.  You simply can’t find this type of patient care in larger hospitals”, said Dr. Limanskiy.

Dr. Natalie Ladine, Orchard Hospital’s chief medical officer, said, “Dr. Limanskiy is exactly the type of physician we need to recruit.  As one of the only teaching hospitals in the area, Orchard Hospital is able to demonstrate to resident physicians how they can deliver patient care everywhere, from the emergency room, to hospital care, and outpatient clinic follow-up.”  Orchard Hospital began allowing new resident physicians to rotate through its emergency room, hospital, and clinics as a way to attract physicians looking to live and work in rural America.
