Arrest Made after Search Results in 837 grams of Cocaine

YUBA-SUTTER, CA (MPG) – On April 7th, 2022, members of the Yuba-Sutter Narcotic and Gang Enforcement Task Force (NET-5) with the assistance of the Yuba City Police Department (YCPD) served a search warrant on the residence of Trae Norton (29 years old of Yuba City), in the 1200 block of Plumas Street, in Yuba City.
During the search of the residence, NET-5 Agents located and seized 837 grams of cocaine, one (1) black operable digital scale, two narcotics packaging, and indicia belonging to Norton. Norton was not home during the service of the warrant but was later contacted and arrested as a result of this investigation for possession for sale of narcotics per section 11351 of the California Health and Safety Code. Norton was booked into the Sutter County Jail and the investigation was forwarded to the Sutter County District Attorney’s Office.
