YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - In 2020 two separate investigations were begun by the Yuba City Police Department regarding the sexual assault of adult females.

The incidents were not related to each other, but the suspect identified during the two investigations was the same person, 28-year-old Dustin McKenzie, from Yuba City. Mr. McKenzie was known to the victims at the time of the sexual assaults. Mr. McKenzie was arrested by the Yuba City Police Investigation Unit on February 23, 2022, and is currently in custody in the Sutter County Jail on $100,000 bail. 

The details surrounding the investigations are not going to be released due to the sensitive nature of the cases. The investigation is still continuing and there is a possibility of additional victims who have not yet come forward.
