The new office location at 1531 Plumas Ct. will be open for in-person appointments as of July 20^th, 2021, in conjunction with the new office opening, Florence Health is accepting new patients now!

The focus at Florence Health is to offer individuals, 65 years and older, primary care around their daily life. Florence Health offers an intimate, concierge level of service to support you and your health conditions in a proactive and personal approach, whether in the clinic or via phone or web. All these services come at no additional cost to the patient outside of standard Medicare fees. Dr. Richard Thorp calls Florence “a much-needed service in the area.”

The Florence Health care team specializes in the aging process, from pre-retirement on. Florence Health physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants take the time to understand how each chronic health condition affects the patient’s daily life, and the interactions of various conditions and other factors. By offering consistent provider visits and around-the-clock access and follow-up through highly trained nurses and medical assistants, Florence advances its goal to provide primary care that meets each patient where they are and helps them to thrive.

Florence’s providers offer healthcare with flexibility around patients’ daily life, including options for virtual and telehealth visits when an in-person visit is not feasible. Florence also has a 24-hour on-call clinical staff with same day turnaround to answer most medical questions and needs, avoiding potential emergency room and urgent care visits.
