Major Repairs Slated for Erle Road Beginning Next Week; Expect Delays

YUBA COUNTY, CA (MPG) - A three-month project to complete major repairs and improvements to a portion of Erle Road in Linda will begin Nov. 2. Residents who regularly travel that road should expect delays through January 2021, or make plans to take alternate routes.

The Erle Road Rehabilitation Project includes the stretch of road between Arboga Road and the eastern intersection with Edgewater Circle.The work entails asphalt concrete resurfacing of failed pavement areas and a two-inch asphalt overlay. The road will also get new stripes and include the replacement of existing curb ramps, to improve pedestrian safety.

The $686,000 project is funded through the California SB1 gas tax, as well as local road construction dollars. Lamon Construction Co., Inc. of Yuba City was awarded the construction contract, and Yuba County Public Works is managing the project.
