Yuba Sutter Lodging Association Will Work Closely with the Cast and Crew of It’s How You Get There

YUBA AND SUTTER COUNTIES, CA (MPG) - Visit Yuba Sutter, an entity funded by the Yuba Sutter Lodging Association (YSLA), has announced filming of the popular series, It’s How You Get There, will take place July 7-10, 2020. The show is set to air fall 2020, highlighting several of the most popular recreational spots in Yuba and Sutter Counties.

“The Yuba Sutter area is one of the most beautiful regions in Northern California. From its many lakes and nature preserves to the culture and history, we knew this destination would be the perfect backdrop for It’s How You Get There,” said Amanda Kaschmitter, Partner Relationship Manager at MC2 Design, a marketing agency that works closely with the YSLA to promote tourism for the two counties.

The History Channel travel show follows three friends who journey across the United States in search of adventure, incredible vehicles and friendly competition. While the filming itinerary for their visit to Yuba Sutter has not been completely finalized, the cast and crew of It’s How You Get There have tentatively planned to explore Bullards Bar, The Sutter Buttes and Collins Lake. “The hosts of the show have several exciting adventures planned over the course of the week, possibly including travelling by motorcycle, jetski and even helicopter,” said Kaschmitter.

The team with It’s How You Get There first approached the YSLA in January with filming originally set to begin this past April. Due to mandates surrounding Covid-19, however, the launch of the third season was postponed until California travel restrictions were lifted.

The mission of the Yuba Sutter Lodging Association is to increase tourism and overnight stays in the two counties. To get the latest updates during production of filming, be sure to follow the Visit Yuba Sutter social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
