YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - On Tuesday, June 9th at approximately 1300 hrs., the Yuba City Police Department, along with the Yuba-Sutter Narcotic and Gang Enforcement Task Force (NET-5) took into custody homicide suspect, Steven Maurice Todd (32 years of age) in the 1000 block of Gray Ave.  Steven Todd was wanted for the murder of a 26-year-old female in Hammond, Indiana in November of 2019.  Yuba City Police received information from the United States Marshalls Service concerning a tip generated by the Investigation Discovery television show, “In Pursuit with John Walsh” concerning the whereabouts of Mr. Todd.  

NET-5 Agents were able to locate and confirm the identity of Mr. Todd leaving a business in the 1000 block of Gray Ave.  Mr. Todd was taken into custody without further incident. Mr. Todd was booked into the Sutter County Jail, where he will be awaiting extradition back to Hammond, Indiana.
