BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, CA (MPG) - Team Beale conducted their first Elephant Walk in decades. This event highlighted our commitment to preparedness and operational capability.

The Elephant Walk took place on Jan. 4, 2024, with combined 18 aircraft to include the U-2 Dragon Lady and chase cars from the 99th Reconnaissance Squadron, T-38 Talon’s from the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron, and KC-135R Stratotanker’s from the 940th Air Refueling Wing taxiing in close formation. This display showcased the expertise of our skilled pilots and ground crews, demonstrating our ability to rapidly respond to potential threats and challenges.
